This ingenious adaptation of the classic children's novel created a sensation at the National Theatre of Great Britain. Here are Badger, Rat, Mole and Toad of Toad Hall in the familiar tale with a contemporary slant.
"I am almost as enthusiastic about Alan Bennett's adaptation ... as Ratty is about his river." - Time Out

"This has to be the most dazzling and enjoyable show in the West End. I hope it wins heaps of awards." - The Daily Express

"Bennett has played fair with [the] original story while adding to it his own brand of astringent nostalgia and cryptic wit." - The Guardian

"A brilliantly theatrical piece of storytelling entertainment." - The Financial Times

In this hilarious send-up of small town morals and mores, they are all among the upstanding citizens of Tuna, Texas' third smallest town. The long-running Off Broadway hit features two actors creating the entire population of Tuna in a tour de farce of quick change artistry, changing costumes and characterizations faster than a jack rabbit runs from a coyote. Two actors, twenty characters and a barrell of laughs, ya'll.
